UAE National Day
Every year our school proudly presents the UAE National Day celebrations. Last year was the 43rd UAE National Day.
The day started off with performances by our students of traditional UAE dances and folk songs outside in the play areas. We then had a parade of primary classes where they marched around the school waving UAE flags and wearing traditional clothes. The UAE National Anthem was played for the school in recognition of this proud country.
The Infant students celebrated National day by activities in the classroom and a parade around the school.
In the afternoon the Secondary students were in the Greenfield area where there were stalls set up, with face painting, traditional food served and displays of Emirati artifacts.
The highlight of the day was the falcons brought into the school by some of our Emirati students. The falcon is the national bird of the UAE.
